Atop a Wire—
A Small Bird Sings
In the Golden Rays of Time—
Against a Sky
Of Spotless Blue—

And as I Close
My Eyes to See
The World that Faces Me

So Intertwined
With the Present Reality—
That when I Open
My Eyes Again
And Look Out toward the Day
I've Found I Now,
Have so Much More,
Left to Do, and Say—
